England is a small country with lots of people so some of the suggestions made above will land you in heavy traffic or even worse on a motorway! You dont want that. Thank you very much Howard! Empty roads in wonderfull landscape - and pubs! Thats what we are searching for. We will have a look. Thanks to all, Peter Give me a few more details ( starting point , dates etc) by pm if you wish and I will try and suggest a detailed route inc pub. Do you use a Garmin gps by any chance - makes it easier to send a suggested route.

Hello Howard, we'll be using my cell-phone's Navigon system. So I guess, I cannot import routes with it, but thanks for offering to work this all out! The details: We have the factory-tour on June 6th, 10 a.m. and have booked another night in the Malvern area. On the 7th, we plan to drift south/southeast. That is our touring-day; for on the 8th, at 11:20 a.m. the chunnel-train is leaving Folkstone with us on board. So our basic plan was to take in some sights on the 7th. Spend a night somewhere on-route so that we reach Folkstone safely on the 8th at around 10:20. We know, it is only a VERY short trip; but better than not being able to go at all... Daniel

You will, unfortunately, have very little time. You might consider Brooklands, which is on your way back. Great museum, plus Concorde. Three-wheeler museum at Rolvenden, perhaps.

Brands Hatch Morgan Kent ? Certainly if you have any car troubles on the way, BHM are on your route back to the tunnel, and it's worth dropping in anyway.

Hello guys, to bring this up again here are some pictures of our tour to Malvern last week. A very foggy tour through Belgium and France to the chunnel and summer in England. Yes, I have to admit - we took my Mazda MX5 for the tour. Daniels Morgan was in Germany but not ready for picking it up at the dealer. Still, we had much fun on the scenic roads and wonderfull tearooms you have there. The view from our B&B near Malvern. On the way to the factory. You know all the pictures of the factory tour so no more from us. Some more tearooms and great british weather Closing time in Rye at 5 p.m.!! Back to France again. It was a wonderfull tour and we come back surely! Thanks for your interest, the mazda driving Peter

...and as you all can see: we restricted our diet to cheddar-cheese-scones, Victoria-Sponge and Sahara-Chilled-Ale... Daniel
