Build week 27 now becomes Build Week 34... S&S supply issue. Has anyone collected a 2016 M3W yet and if so, was it delayed?

Mine was supposed to be week 16, then 19, it was started 2 weeks ago, last week i got a message it is delayed due to a supply issue. Mark Terlecky has a similar delay. I have no idea when i will get it. KenShapiro and Richard Wood have 2016 cars.

Sorry guys... Looks like the factory went bonkers after knocking out my 2016 rather perfectly. Well... It was delayed a day.

Ken can drive his car for those of us that cannot! I have heard two different reasons for the backup. The latest one is some sort of Parts availability issue, although this is the first I've heard that it might be down to S&S. The earlier excuse for the slip it in the schedule was a paint booth backup possibly caused by the ARP4

My car will probably be one of the first if not the first for a lot of the 2016 options. I knew when I changed my order that in doing so I might be delaying the delivery of the car due to the parts existing only on paper

My dealer copied me the email from Morgan, which states S&S motor supply as the reason. I've got a number of 2016 options ticked too, which I thought might be the reason to cause a delay. I can't find a car that has been delivered with some of the 2016 options yet.

I can't find a car that has been delivered with some of the 2016 options yet. As far as I am aware, none have. Im awaiting photos of my car in build. Will be interesting to see if it has my lovely JAP engine in place.
