Since we own 5 out 6 properties in our courtyard and voted to remain we've declared we're remaining in Europe. People coming to stay will have to come through passport control at the gate.

to soon? Central Europeans don't drink tea - another reason they are distrusted by the Brits! More to the M3W point: the S&S engine and MX5 gearbox is almost a third of the M3W value (pretax)? That's a lot of currency sensitivity. Hopefully the increased volumes since the original plan have carved out some volume discounts (/profits) that can weather the currency fluctuations over the next few months!

Presumably if the exchange rate worsens against the dollar they will be cheaper to buy for those in the states. Conversely if 1/3 of the cost comes from the states and this cost us more then the car might have to go up! Get one while you can!!

Hmmmm. My dealer said they paid MMC in full when I put down my deposit. I think I may look into this further
