Spending the weekend in Defford area for the air/cars day. Just back at B&B. Cross country run from West Wales on Friday to Tally Ho b&b in Alderton. Pub meal last night and tonight in Gardeners arms opposite. Nice food. Saw the air display at Malvern from few miles away...saw the smoke trails in the distance! A few Morgans there and nice to meet them. Stunning cars inc a Peking-Paris 2007 car .
300 miles today, coming home from a week's larking about in Northumbria with a few mates. Stayed at the Otterburn Castle Hotel, which was lovely. Highly recommended.

I mostly drive it without the sidescreens except when is Installed and then it is mandatory they are fitted. Some couple compromise so it's one on the left and not on the right which I couldn't cope with the unbalanced look - I must be OCD. Not tried hood and no sidescreens as I don't use the hood.
I have two running rigs. If no or only intermittent rain is expected, then it's no sidescreens and tonneau cover in place. If it's raining heavily or about to, then I fit the sidescreens and remove the tonneau cover, making it easy to erect or drop the hood as required.
Generally I dislike having the sidescreens fitted, they flap and rattle and compromise elbow room. I nearly always use just the tonneau cover.
On my car, driving hood up with no sidescreens at any speed over around 45mph causes the hood to flap up and down. I am concerned about the stresses placed on the windscreen frame, so I avoid doing it.

Call me a wimp but I quite like having the side screens up with no hood. They don't rattle or make any noise and it's just a bit quieter and comfy to drive. If it's T shirt weather I sometimes remove them and use the tonneau cover when parked up. It is possible to use the tonneau with the screens and just tuck the edges in. Never tried just hood up with no screens but I imagine it'll flap about a bit.
