Not sure about this, but I had a call from a friend at NASA who tells me that the Beagle 2 has started transmitting from Mars a following some solar flares in Malvern.

Rich as for the interior I did ask for sperm whale foreskins but had to settle for black leather with gold waffle stitching, and finally the wheels will be changed. Not to keen on the factory options and prefer the series 2 wheels.

Not going for Aeromax wheels then?
Thought I'd started a trend there...

Totally agree with your thoughts on wheels Asbo.

I've got the standard wheels in graphite on my S4. It's not that they are ugly but the S2 wheels just look so much more attractive.

Are S2 wheels still available new?

Regards,

Robert

No, as I understand it the original manufacturer went bust. I've seen some after market wheels which I'll do some more research on once I have the car. Seems to be a lot of choice given the price the factory were after for either max or supersport wheels spend

John, as you and I have discussed, I think the gold is absolutely stunning (probably one of the nicest colours in that spectrum I have ever seen). The pink tint is a very individual choice and I'm waiting to see the car in the metal before I comment on that. Either way, I'm still working on your nickname and the final choice will surely need to be as flamboyant as you and your new Aero 8! grin2

I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished interior - I can imagine that being very stunning.

Well done that man! thumbs

I was joking, Shooter. I don't think resale value is an issue for Morgan owners.
To proof my point : I also own a Renault Espace. cheers

A friend of mine ordered a yellow Audi and got 3(!) phonecalls from the dealer to change his mind because of the future resale value. doh

I wasn't trying to have a go spudgun, just making the point that if I buy a car I buy it for me, not some future owner. I'm sure though that there are many that worry about resale value when they buy a vehicle and so the colour scheme they choose takes that into account. Mind you, a quality paint job can be done for around £5,0000 so can't see why anyone would worry.
