Pulled roll bars today because they were rubbing the body, the creaking noise behind my head had been going on long enough. Besides rubbing the body I found that the inner chassis tubes were FULL of WATER and the roll bars themselves are thinner than exhaust pipe. So, drilled some drain holes at the base of the inner bar mounts, drum sanded more clearance in the body and will be getting with a race chassis shop to make some REAL roll bars this winter. Pictures attached.

Acf 50 will help but where steel and aluminium come into wet contact you will get a galvanic corrosion. The hoops do rock but the hole must be made large enough that it cannot touch, the rubber gets bitten through and the protection is gone. Aluminium is a bugger for corrosion. Mine has gone about 10mm round each hoop in the body
