I agree with you and your wife Kirk. The doubled-up black stripes make it look too "heavy". You would think the factory would have an agreed upon template to follow. Seems as though your car is likely the first to go into production with the pinstripe option. Sorry you have to be the guinea pig.
Let's hope getting it right doesn't cause too much more of a delay.
Are you coordinating with the factory through your dealer? You're lucky to have this inside contact sending you real time production photos.
The first photos were from people I know, or people that have cars who are also in build it just happened to catch mine in the background. But All those latest photos are actually from the factory itself. My dealer has been great about keeping on them, and I have been diligent in keeping on my dealer. If the factory can fix them, great. Then I would be getting what I paid for. Even though perhaps the Heritage stripe option is the exact pattern that they put on my car. Since we have never seen any official pictures of the new options we are kind of taking shots in the dark here. All I know is the strypes I want and the stripes I ask for are the stripes that were on the Geneva show car. Step by step, inch by inch we are getting closer to the goal. I'm sure everybody is thinking that I'm a pain in the ass, but this is the second biggest purchase in my life, second only to my house! I don't think I'm being too bad of a customer to ask for it to be exactly how I wanted it. Bespoke is a word that they like to throw around, then it should be to my specification.

Do they have the rear mudguard kit for your car yet?
I ask because my car is booked with dealer to have new cam seals fitted under warranty late next week. Would be great if he had mudguard to fit as well.
