After spending the day servicing my friends lotus twin cam 4/4, I drove it down to a small car meet at Poole Harbour last night. Fabulous to drive and the sound of the twin 40's reminded me of my RS ford days.
About 380 miles today. Just got in from Kent. Very tired after 5.30 start. Lost an hour on the way back at Dartford. Report to follow tomorrow. We won't make Blenheim unfortunately.

Deano I'd love to know more about the twin cam 4/4. It seems like the obvious thing to do with a 1960's (like mine) or 70's 4/4. Can you post some more detail or maybe PM me with the owner's details? If you think he wouldn't mind me asking a few questions..
Round trip to Cardiff. sospan jnr was at a festival in the castle with his pizzaa van. Great weather and a good crowd. A Welsh festival with local entertainment in the BBC radio stage and food producers/crafts. Weather was great. It was a toss up between this event or the Swansea Airshow. Motorway both ways and passed a 16 plate white Mog at Margam headed back west. Driver and oassenger in flying helmets and a good Morgan wave exchanged.
