Finally caught up with this blog last now, and loved the whole story.
As you say, Steve, some real Morgan adventuring!
They and the car are proving amazingly tough! drive
Looking forward to the next instalments.

Are they using one of your radiators Simon?
That is a stern test, aside from the monumental stress the chassis is taking...

Yes they are, although it's mounted very differently to convention.

I made (in no particular order) for the P2P car:

The chassis
The front cross frame
The heavily modified stub axles
The bolt on chassis reinforcement
The rear suspension subframe
The fuel tanks
The radiator
I retubed and modified the rear axle
I individually selected the rear leaves for the rear leaf springs from several complete springs, I then polished and deburred them individually before building them up with an advanced polymer low friction liner between each leaf

I designed but outsourced the manufacture of :
The substantially larger Hard Chrome kingpins
The half shafts, and floating rear axle bearing housings and hubs

All in all it was a huge amount of work, but nothing compared to the amount put in afterwards in Norway

What happened to the Morgan. They are more than a day behind. Looks like they are doing their best to catch up.

The Morgan is not following the Route. They are North on M7. Looks to be a faster shortcut in order to catch up. Doesn't look good.

The Blog now has the story. Oil pump failure and unable to repair the motor they are transporting it to Vilnius where a replacement awaits. What an adventure! Shame about the motor.

Must be so frustrating to have to have it trailered part of the way.
