Hi,
I have a 1995 1800cc 4/4 with a Silver Top Zetec engine. I want a manual for the engine. Looking at Haynes manuals it is not possible to decide which one to select so I contacted Haynes. They replied: "There are several different versions of this engine and to help further I will need the engine code. The engine code is stamped on the flange adjoining the gearbox bellhousing and will be similar to “RDA” followed by the engine number."
Not surprisingly I cannot find the code, it is probably hidden by something else.
Can anyone advise which manual is best for this engine. Failing that any idea where the code is.
Many thanks for any help you can give.
David

Hi David, I think you will find that the engine and ecu are the same as the Fiesta RS 1800 of the the year you quote.I have a 1994 silver top and have bought gaskets relating to the RS1800 and fitted ok. Morgan had these engines stamped up with a number relating to there build not a known ford engine identification. Hope this is of help David

Does your V5 form show the engine number? Should do. If it is a Morgan number then check with the factory. They might have records ( )
