Any suggestions as to best place to get new wire wheels balanced in Essex??
Is on car better than off car balancing??

Tyre Smart in Witham. they fit tyres for JD Classics.
Never had wires balanced on the car, (very old method apparently) plus weights ideally need to be fixed on inner rim.

Had my wheels balanced at MWS this week after three failed attempts by local tyre fitters. MWS did a first class job in no time. Would recommend. MWS is in Slough so not so far away.

Has anybody tried Dynabeads? People in another car club I was in had used them with very good results.

Well I have been in to National Tyre Services in Aberdeen today to have two wheels checked. Took my balencing cones with me, but no need they had cones with their machine. Balenced them up in 5 minutes no problems and no charge. Great service. Mind you the guy that did it was about as dour a Scot as you are ever likely to meet.  6
