As time has passed, I realize tat the 280mm sender isn't very accurate either. The short one must be insane, lol! Mine will be at 50% and only take 3.5 gallons.

I recognised today my 280mm sender gets worse in accuracy.
I got used to reset milage at every refilling and start to look for the next petrol station after 300km / 190miles. Have still some 25% reserve at that stage.

Yep. Mine too. Not sure how but it's become less accurate than when initially installed. I reset and calculate after each filling. Used to read 50% after100 miles. Now it's reading 25-30% after 100 miles. Getting about 25 MPG consistently regardless. Just seems the readings are changing. Strange.

Mine too Ken, this is bizarre.
Last year if I filled up on zero it took about 28-30ltrs, filled up last week after 30 or so miles on zero and it too 22 ltrs. when I was expecting 10 more than that.
Cant complain though I'm getting 40 mpg with the stage 1 kit.
