At night I tend to keep the internal lighting switched off in rural areas except to read the map..

Helmet - yes, most of the time, great sun/weather protection, especially as I get older. My Snell open face helmets have a problem with wind uplift, don't like a closed helmet in the 3 wheeler, bad visibility. Just ordered a Biltwell roundy looking open face with smoothly faired in visor, should be better, although I prefer Snell construction to the Biltwell polycarbonate plastic. I will let you know how it works out. Hopefully never have to test the plastic like I did with my MGA years ago.

So here's my take on helmets that provide the cudos to be worn in a M3W

A. Sporting the Cromwell Spitfire

B. The Bell Pits boss

C. Davida classic - this ones the 'Mike Hailwood' from their signature range

Three very smart helmets.

I used a Davida Classic and a Davida Jet when I had my M3W - and if it was freezing a Full Face.

We have 2 Morgan Davida Jets for longer trips. No visors, just goggles. They make it very quiet yet still able to talk at 100k. And we only have the superlow wow-rare-collectable screens
