We have just returned from our first long trip in the +8 just over 1000 miles.
The car was absolutely superb, more comfortable than we expected, no drama's just a great driving experience.
It averaged 29mpg over the trip, used no oil or water, the only niggle was a little water ingress from the top of the windscreen and some in the glove box area on our return but I've no idea where that came from.
We received some lovely comments from almost everyone we met and to see a small boy so excited at seeing the car jumping up and down in France was incredible and the look on his face when I let him sit in the car will be with me for ever.
Long live Morgan

Morgans are not owned, we are only custodians of them, for ours and others enjoyment.

When a driver lets us out of junction it goes to make us more courteous to other drivers, so as not to blemish that "Morgans effect".

So no need to put oil in the diff then? wink

As for the "Morgan Effect" - one of our better ones was (whilst in France) being invited to join a family picnic, having let their children have photos taken sat in the 4/4.

Absolutely not! all roundabouts negotiated with delight and with fervor this time.
Mind you I left servicing to the professionals after what happened in 2014.
I am still amazed at the number of smiles a Morgan generates no matter where you are.
Now looking forward to meeting up in September.
