When we went down last monday they had in 2 E types and a ferrari 308. They said they'd just delivered an AC ace to a local customer.
The Librands exhaust has a whole range of sounds!!!!! A little bit vintage Bentley right up to a scream at 6500 rpm!!!! There is a sweet spot where it sounds fairly mellow. I've got a medium volume tail pipe, I might try a quieter one as the wife did comment that it seemed a bit 'noisier than normal"
My first Morgan was a rover engined +4 ages ago, since the I've had several 4/4's. I wanted a bit more 'go'. I think the 2.0L duratec gives it, and is a relatively cheap thing to live with (tax, insurance, etc) and as Heinz says, it's tuneable.
It's very early days but I like it. The most recent car I've owned up to now has been 08. This seems to be more refined!!! (amazingly), and better finished off.
Interestingly, the original bill of sale is with the car. In 2013 it cost close to what I've just paid. If I specced up and ordered a new car, which was an option I decided against, it would be £10,000 more!!!!!!
Congratulations from a happy Duratec +4 fellow owner. Have fun with your car, it is a beautiful one and the black wheels go very well with the overall looks
Very nice indeed. How much difference is there between the old 1.8 and the 2.0?
loads.
I am a big fan of the 1.8 duratec 4/4, I've had several, and also several zetecs. I can't see how an extra 200cc makes so much difference but it certainly seems to do. I'm sure the exhaust and induction makes some difference, but until I've had a remap and got to a rolling road to find out just how much extra it makes, I can't put a number on it.
Purely on backside dyno feel it's nippy, when you getup the rev range it flies.
The colour really suits the car - I really enjoy mine as its got enough traction to bimble along and it will fly if thrashed through the gears using that excellent gearbox. always tempted to add some tuning bits but not got round to it yet as it runs so sweet. Enjoy!

My wife and I had a pair of 2007 Ford Focus (should that be Focusi?) anyway they were identical apart from hers was a 1.8 and mine a 2.0, both Duratecs....the difference was very noticeable, I traded mine for a 1.6 VVti she wanted to swap before I traded, problem was hers did not have an undented panel on it and the garage would have had a fit! Anyway, whatever they did the engines are light years different, my 08 +4 is a 2.0ltr Duratec and flies along....very happy with it.
