Talk Morgan Forums Morgan Sports Cars Classic Morgans (pre-CX) Knock Hill this past Sunday

Sorry for no action photos, but the weather was shite and my DSLR is not even weather resistant, so I had to make do with the (disposable) Windows phone with a very slow phone cam. The Morgan sounded awesome coming out of the last hairpin, blasting up the start/finish straight, shifting about half up the hill, always pulling ahead and keeping first. I will never forget that sound.

Let me clarify. This is Mr. Gilmartin's (sp?) awesome Morgan. I was just a spectator. I have no connection to that amazing car. Other than loving it. I spoke to him briefly in his paddock Sunday.

My good friend is now manager for an up-and-coming driver, who is currently in a Fiesta and a MINI. Chris Milford raced in five heats at Knock Hill on Sunday. Took a second, a third, was shunted and finished 28th after changing a cracked wheel in the pits, and then placed mid-pack after his transmission lost (?) syncros. But neither of those cars sound like that Morgan. And neither dominated like the Morgan.

Get a new picture host! No need to have anything like that size either.

Picture loads fine via your link, but probably best to keep the file size lower!

I usually check this kind of stuff using the "Preview Reply" button. If your image doesn't show when you Preview, then it probably won't show when you click "Submit"!

I find Flickr very handy - my phone auto-uploads pictures, but it can take a couple of minutes finding the right embed code to use...
