Amazing collection. It does confirm why cosmetic dentistry is so expensive.

JLR puzzle me. They have by car industry terms a small output and a limited range. They have been in a sweet spot making a bit of money which with a sensible business strategy would all be reinvested in new products and expansion. Instead they seem to be frittering money on daft ideas like this one or like buying Silverstone

MMC make some easy money from 40,000+ (?) people going around on the factory tours so now with the other collection JLR bought they can build their own super museum. I admit it's a vast expense to go to but perhaps as a collection it will make better increasing returns and still be an asset on the blance sheet. Maybe they can make more from making and selling JLR cars. Just a theory.

The story appears to be two years old - I wonder what has happened since. Would tie in very nicely with the Gaydon Museum, but they would need a lot of extra space.

I think some are at Gaydon. The TM crew were shown round the storage area on the first visit last year.
