ok, I thought a lot about this one. I'm not mad. I'm saddened. I have had enough of the whole "don't ask questions, and if you do you are not bad-ass enough to drive a Morgan" bullshit here. Not just to me, because I am VERY used to it, but to anyone who dares ask a question about, for instance the warranty. We pay for a warranty, it is normal to want to know what we are buying. Great way to welcome Fast Ken to the brand. He ordered a car in spite of us, not because of us. Why in all these hobbies, cars, bikes and so on, do we have to prove we are so bad ass? I spend too much time here, I know that. Because I don't have my car, I spend hours on here. I will be watching you all tear each other apart as I lurk and post on the tech articles from the sidelines. Those are worth peoples time. And you will say its good natured ribbing, and call me thin skinned. Fine. People have questions, this is a Forum. If you think their question is beneath you, you could ignore them. I'm not the only one that feels this way, I was warned about the attitudes of some people on here before I ever joined the Forum. Most just quietly stop posting. I just have the big brass ones to call some of you out on it. I will not condone the schoolyard bullshit I see here. Yes we are all entitled to our opinions, but to just be A-holes to new people who came to find an answer to an honest question is too childish to be believed here in the glorious 21st century. Because there was a time when none of us knew anything about these machines, or the quirky company that builds them. You don't have to be "worthy to buy a Morgan", just a little insane. Hi Draggin

Looks like your going to enjoy your Morgan M3W more than the building a relationship with the folks responding to this international Morgan Forum.
When you have a really fun machine that is so enjoyable to drive but has many possible faults that no one can really tell you about in helping you make that "the leap of faith", it's nice to talk with other owners. Just because you own a Morgan M3W doesn't make you a mentor on this forum.

There are plenty of nice owners on the forum that you can PM, email or call for help and advice. Don't let a few turn you off to a lot of great folks mentoring other so that they can fully enjoy this one of a kind driving experience.

Draggin I think Waldemar was speaking a bit tongue in cheek & was not out to upset you or anyone else. I'll be sorry if you stop posting as your progress has been interesting & we wont see the end result you have waited so long for.

I don't think the footwells are particularly leaky, it's just that they have a big hole open to the elements where you sit so you will get some rain in. Think of it as a well protected motorbike rather than a poorly protected car. As I said earlier, travel light is the best thing, you rarely need all the stuff you take on a trip.

Thank you, that makes total sense. Its a big powered sidecar. Its not an intrusion issue from underneath.
