good pics there Nick  I'm really quite surprised at how short that short shifter makes the gear shift. As I think I previously posted,I cut down the shaft on mine as I couldn't find the original kit;mine is no where near as short as that ! Well done for taking the time and effort to re-source these parts.... James

That looks like a very cheap upgrade. I wonder if an equivalent is availble for the S3?

Thank you everyone, I haven't included fitting costs (these will vary due to labour rates) but overall I feel it was very good value for money.
Not entirely sure what the setup on the S3 is, I think the gearboxes changed at a certain point so the shafts are different and shorter from the factory - might be worth calling Librands to see if they know more.

Just ordered the shift lever for mine. £80 inc vat and postage. Will send it to Librands when it arrives, they are expecting it.....just wish I had a car to put it in.......
