A rather nice drive back from an overnight at The Cottage in the Wood in the company of Budster, LLB and of course Stanley......who is sitting in my drive looking rather lovely!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
Had a great lunch with some of the Aero (chassised) TM'ers, though one turned up in a Mondeo Estate. Great choice of venue Adrian ( here! ) and an excellent lunch. Many thanks for arranging it, we all enjoyed it!
We then drove to Malvern and had dinner with more Mog owners from TM in The Swan - excellent food again. ToTH today and then back home, 475 miles in two days of very enjoyable top-down motoring, bringing to a close one year of ownership and 7103 miles. Perfik!
Was a great lunch and good company, have to own up to being last to arrive even though only 10 miles from home . The TMer in the Mondeo needs a good
If you keep putting the miles on Brian you'll wear it out and have to get another one

Buggered Off, to a modern none leaky car, heart's still ticking
Weekend attending ToTH. Artanged by Ray and Great weekend with non Mway routes up and back. 8 Morgans = 16 happy people. Met a couple of TM'rs. Enjoyed seeing some lovely cars. Sunday's home run was a meandering route.... David Austin rose centre for the ladies Shobdon airfield ........quiet, only one plane up. Attended church in Pembridge. They did a nice cream tea in the church itself and we spotted the bats in the roof cavities. Boat Inn at Whitney on Wye for meal before going home, people peeling off at suitable junctions. This weekend irts noggin Friday and a run by aerotaff on Sunday.
Some more outings for Nero planned this week.....a visit to Jaguar Landrover at Gaydon on Wednesday for a private tour guides tour and then down to Williams for MOT and a part service. NO spaniels!!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
Your old 4/4 Sport looked good at Shelsley J. Didn't see Ian though...
He was just parked along from mine and I had a good chat with him and compared notes. He certainly seems a very happy bunny with it and it looked lovely. Kept saying Jay wished he hadn't sold it. Yep! I think he does!
How was the drive home? I had a similar experience the first time I drove Archie home, around 150 miles. Not the greatest of bonding opportunities, M5 all the way and rain all the way.
It took me a good while to get used to a Morgan; it's like no other car I have ever driven. Not in a bad way, but kind of weird. The first few times out felt something of an out of body experience - and it took around six months to settle into the 'unique' suspension setup.
Enjoy, and you will (hopefully) learn to love it as you get used to it. The Morgan ownership experience is unique, and I mean that in more than the literal sense...

Not long back from extended weekend. It started at TOTH and has just finished with Stanley washed and back in its garage. Slightly erratic brake lights (switch suspected and will be fixed by Berrybrook when it's soon in for its MoT and annual service)
Below is the picture Jays took and attached a fantastic one from Stringers Best Mate. (TlLB, Yours truly, Mrs SBM + Jays and of course Stanley) Great meet up and enjoy time with so many TMers. Ginger Beer and Dandelion & Burdock!!
