my 1995 4/4 didn't come with headrests. Any suggestions where I can get a reasonably priced pair and do they just slot in?

If you've got the single oval hole in the seat, then MGB headrests will fit just fine, you can get them from the MG owner's club in a choice of shape, material, and colour:

If you have the two round pins - speak to Phil at Brands Hatch Morgan, he sorted them for me. But you will need to let him know if you need the tubes that go in the seat frames.

Bish, at the risk of being pedantic, don't expect them to be head rests, they will act as neck restraints in the event of the unthinkable

Here for a good time not a long time!!

From what I remember the MG ones with single oval fit. MG also have the two rod versions but I don't know if they fit a Morgan. A tip......whichever you get....use ordinary car wax on the metal stalks as they then slide easier in the holes on the seat. I have a tonneau cover and need to remove mine to fit it and the wax eases removal! They can be tight and fly off out of your hands when they release due to extra force to remove them!!
As above....my head is a couple of inches away from mine. You can also get neck braces that are a "pillow" type add on to bridge the gap.Available from MMC or dealers with trim shops such as Allon White etc.

Apart from the MGB, which I guess means all British Leyland products of that era, do any other makes use the single oval post?

The BL post became almost UK standard - that's a first for BL. Even Reliant used them in the Scimitar.

Thanks all, given me a couple of choices. I was looking for the head restraint issue but head rest just seemed nicer....less...planning for the worst and hoping for the best!

Thanks again
