Hi everyone
Along with the cosmetic and parts I plan on fitting I have one that is more maintenance to do. As my radiator has a small drip from the top pipe to the filling cap. So im looking at a replacement.
Has anyone fitted the Mullberry fabrications one and is it worth the extra money?
My other small question is regarding the fuel gauge. When I have a full tank it reads between 3/4 and full (its to the brim) from my land rover days I would have lived with it or been told that 'they all do that sir'. Is this something that can be corrected though?

There are a number of threads re: fuel gauges. The one on my 90 is far more accurate than on my 4/4. I go by mileage on the Morgan (reset trip every fill).
As for the rad, if you've bought a car with the plastic inlet/outlet pipes then going for a Mulberry rad makes sense. If your car is post '06 (4/4 or +4) Williams also do an ally rad...

Regarding the fuel sender will the same one the 3 wheels are fitting work? Im guessing its the same part across the range.

Not sure about the fuel sender Tom. BHM or other dealer should be able to answer that one. However, I doubt it will make your gauge any more accurate...

That leak from the overflow outlet is one of the two classic places the rads fail. Peter Mulberry at Mulfab have the perfect solution for you. Fitted by many owners for peace of mind even before they fail as the OE rads have a very poor reputation.
Same story on +4's with the plastic rads.

The original rad failed on my 2008 4/4 with sudden loss of coolant out of the top hose plastic union. Noticed when the temperature suddenly began to rise to about 105degC. Mulfab alloy rad since fitted has been good ever since and worth the cost, especially if you are planning to tour.  Disappointing that MCC seem to be cutting quality corners and reinforces the notion that its better to purchase a well sorted second hand motor.

I had a Sifab radiator upgrade recently, and I am very pleased with it Tom.
I had a small weepy, and decided to go for an upgrade rather than a straight replacement - there is little in the price difference.
The Sifab version is larger and sits on longer bottom mountings.
The engine runs 10 degrees cooler for it.
I am looking forward to a long life with it!
