For the Spax adjustable 2 x front and 2 x rear it's £557.36 exc tax (£668.84 with vat)

For the Suplex full set it's £1,342.97 exc tax (£1,611.56 with VAT)

The Ohlins set of four is just over the £2000 mark including VAT in the UK.
I would describe the Spax adjustibles and the Ohlins as good value for money, just very different amounts of money.

I follow your conversation in detail (also other threads about shock absorbers in this forum) but I have to admit, that for a newbie who is currently putting together a dream-configuration for his (first) M3W, it is rather confusing.

Initially I wanted to go for the Suplex adjustable platform kit front and rear, priced at GBP 1500, available from the Aero Racing Options for the M3W. Now I feel like that would be a massive mistake as you seem to be all over the moon for Ohlins.

Also I am uncertain concerning the Aero Racing Option called "Adjustable shock absorbers front and rear, priced at GBP 500" and where it comes into play.

The main reason to go for the Suplex was that it was fitted at the factory at the time of the build but seemed to me like a worthy add-on...

Is there something I don't realize?

Personally I have had serious issues with the Suplex shocks that are not yet fully resolved. They will not be going back on my three wheeler. Once fully resolved I may tell the tales.
My experience is that the Spax adjustibles on the back are actually pretty decent, I haven't tried the front Spax adjustibles.
The standard shocks are adequate for pottering but are not long lived and get a bit over excited over fast bumpy roads; a lot of hitting end stops involved.
The front Ohlins are extremely good and seem unfazed by any surface (so far!) and I'm waiting on Ohlins rears to arrive which will now be the end of the month because I will be away for the next three weeks working.

My first experience with Suplex was they were better than the stock Spax units but the Suplex went bad and were sent back for new units.
(The clicking mechanism to adjust the level of firmness broke)
The new replacements didn't fit on the front and the spring of the rear shock
was useless, super hard and no real shock travel.
Gave them away for $300

I would say the Spax adjustable for those on a budget will help the ride and if your can afford the Ohlins they do make a difference in the quality of the handling/ride, softer but with control as why they are the shock you find on the higher end motorcycles

I would never buy Suplex again
