I certainly wouldn't discount a series 5 aero.
Two weeks and almost a1000 miles have made me realise how much I missed an aero. The cars in for a service next week I'll try to get around to a little write up.

Look forward to hearing about it Asbo.
Selling the Aeromax looks like a lot of my automotive decisions - bad timing! They are certainly able to retail now back at the original retail price. The Aeromax is the looker - it's the prettiest, the Coupe drives better, it's slightly more developed, and the supersports boot makes it a more practical tourer(though the luggage I inherited with mine that Aeroman had commissioned solved that extremely stylishly!)..
I would think that the S5 drives a whole lot better than the max or the Coupe, while the Aeromax was always entertaining it was never what you would consider a weapon for attaching a B road...

You cannot be too fast with a max/ss. You would disappoint too many people trying to take a picture.

Great post Alistair, I can agree with your reasoning in having all three, and if I was in your position I would most likely do the same! That video is quite amusing

If you need tipping over then watch the video of a certain beautifully coloured SS in Milan. And when I am in Zurich (where the amount of uncommon cars is quite "common") the effect is exactly the same. For sure the colour of the car -if it's a sunny day- helps

For sure the colour of the car -if it's a sunny day- helps Mine is a "Zurich" colour - and yet the roads are a far less dull place with it on. I have found Jaguar drives particularly fond on it - second come tourists at Burkliplatz who almost get run over dawdling over the crossings.

For the last week I've been using the GTN as an everyday car. I'm fortunate that the previous owners seemed to have lavished a lot of care on it and I am benefitting from it.
It just drives beautifully and the sound of the side pipes with the 4.6 is surprisingly different to the 4.8.
Oh, and did I mention it goes like a rocket!
Surprisingly low miles too. Turned 13,000 tonight on the way home. Taking it to the football tomorrow :-)
