Maybe not a job for the first week, but during the second week I'd get out the woodworking tools and attach a piece of timber across the front underside of the driver's seat to provide a bit of thigh support. Obviously the timber thickness needs to be calibrated to your leg length...

Just went out and checked mine. Only five months old, so I'll keep an eye on it but it's supple and intact. Maybe that's also improved for 2016 ?
