If you ordered a fairly base car, you might be fine.
I ordered the base vehicle. I was originally told I'd have it end of July, now they are saying mid september. They're behind at least a month and a half for a base model.

They are all stacked up behind mine, you are welcome!
Curse you! Why you ordered the radio and in dash cappuccino machine is beyond me.

2016 options have been available to order for almost 6 months. Mine has been delayed 6 weeks due to engine supply issues. And that was the exact quote from Morgan. Nothing mentioned about 2016 options. So everyone will be in the same boat, base model or not. If mine gets built in the next 3 or 4 weeks I will have nothing to reasonably complain about.

My first delay was unexplained schedule "slippage" some blamed this on the ARP4, some on the paint shop being backed up, some on engine supply. Then was the delay because they did not have the rear fender or the new windshield, then there was the 3 attempts it took to get the graphics correct, that was a couple weeks, because the graphics company is only on-site on certain days. The last delay was due to the new Instrument panel. Then they sent me the email saying it was done and they were charging me storage. and then the storage company didn't have it, and a week and a half ago it was still a separate body and frame, with none of the AERO racing stuff on the engine. Total delay so far 12 weeks. Unless the car is done, and they didn't notify me, because they already notified me on the 26th? I wouldn't know.

Whilst my timing went to plan, I had some issues with specification that spoilt the process for me.
However these were all sorted before I took delivery from the dealer and from the first turn of the key my Morgan experience has been nothing but total joy and the issues long forgotten.

issues with specification?
Is that a polite way of saying that they built it wrong?

No, there was some miscommunication between the dealer and the factory who ignored my emails and insisted upon equipping the car with brown tonneau and brown leather rear cover/dashboard straps. This was fixed by a kind person in the factory, probably under cover of darkness, who I will forever be in debt to and hopefully still has a job after his uunauthorised display of customer care. Also, despite several emails and instructions on the order form and confirmed by the factory, the graphics were not applied in the correct places but my dealer obtained a spare set from the factory and these were rectified in NZ before I picked up the car. The only legacy is that I have no photos of "my" finished car at the factory in my build book. I have some pretend PDI ones taken at the dealer's workshop.

But she is beautiful and after a year of trouble free pleasure, I would not change one thing about her.

NEWS:
The windshield and dash are still holding up production. Just another week, and then they can start completing the car again.
We shall see, at least I know something.

Heres what i take away from that.
We told you 2 weeks ago that it was done, but really it is sitting here waiting for the same parts we promised you 3 weeks ago.
Just anotjer week aeems to be their defsult response. They have not learned to under promise and over deliver. Do i think i will have a vehicle in 6 weeks? Nope.
