The "Claw"

Thanks to Cain & Uther I got my Wolf Perfromance Claw today.

Very easy to use and from first impressions tightens the sidescreens up tighter than the tommy bar.

I've used the claw a couple of times now and I do think that the side screens rattle less than when tightened with the Tommy bar.

I'm convinced it works

I was sceptical as I just use the tommy bar on my key ring and didn't see the need but I got one from Cain at MOG16 as it was such a beautifully made piece and to support Cain and Uther (the originator)

But I find it so easy to get a good tight sidescreen

Say goodbye to TBS

(Tommy bar slippage)

I'ld like one Stewart but am a bit wary as in tightenng my sidescreens five mins before a potential purchaser arrived I snapped the knob clean off !

Because of that risk I do not use anything but my hands to fix the side screens. I got warnings from my garage not to overtighten.

There is another weakness to 'The Claw' as illustrated in this training video.

Haha, I'd forgotten all about that, I used to do it to my son when he was little. I wouldn't try it now, he's 21 and boxes!

Thanks for the memory.
