Well done Graham for bringing the topic back on track, Yes well done Graham and my apologies for missquoting Sartre out of context When he proclaimed "All Human actions are equivalent and are in principle doomed to failure" He was alluding to 3 Wheeler bevel boxes and NOT Morgan ownership in general Just thought I would clear that one up ! It's incredible how sealion we all go with Morgan ownership. What are we talking about again?

Question 2
Would my 1997 4/4Ford Zetec 1800, have a "one short" lubrication system the owners hand book mentions it saying the plunger it is located in 'top area of the steering column above the drivers clutch foot front scuttle " but i can't see anything!
Any ideas anyone?

Easiest way to tell is to see whether you have pipes connected to the top of your kingpins. Follow the pipe(s) back to the bulkhead where the oiler valve may be, then work out where the button is on the other side of the bulkhead. Alternatively, grovel in footwell, if fitted the button will be above the transmission tunnel, inboard of the clutch pedal...  Enjoy!

Check your suspension.
The "one shot" has small pipes feeding to the top of the kingpins. The pipes are similar in size to brakepipes. If you have a grease nipple there instead then either you don't have the system
or
A previous owner has converted away from the one-shot.
The foot operated "button" is like the old headlight dip switch that used to be mounted on cars years ago. It will be reasonably high up behind(ish) and to left of the clutch pedal to make it less likely to be pushed accidentally whilst driving!

Ah, the handbook. The one I was given mentioned the one-shot oiler system. I spent a while looking for the pedal. Then I found out that I don't have top kingpin grease nipples...
