You are absolutely right, here in Singapore we have 6 MOG over 35 yrs old, because import a new one is just crazy, and far as we know have a also a lot in Malaysia and Indonesia for the same reasons.

And soon will have one more, as i just buy a lovely 71"

"The model celebrates 80years of continuous production this year"

Can someone please explain this statement to me;
My understanding is that the 4/4 Series 1 finished production in 1951[?] following the introduction of the +4, the 4/4 Series 2 was introduced as a stable mate to the +4 in 1956[?].

Continuous production, my ****, next you'll be telling me that they don't have wooden chassis.

I own a 2011 Roadster and a 1955 +4. I love driving both and they are of course very different. Since I live in Aberdeen the distance involved for many events is often considerable. I can tell you my backside and back can only tolerate about 150 miles in the +4 due to the limited upholstery and fixed seat. The Roadster I can drive all day every day. Thats my excuse.

I had a call this week from a guy in Bournemouth. He has just bought a 4 seater, built in 1981 and used until 1989 when after 9500 miles it was put into a warm, dry warehouse and left.....

The new owner was asking about possible issues. It was quite a lengthy call. But it did set me wondering, why do Morgans end up like this?

The new owner paid less than £16K and expects to spend another £5k to bring it back to life.

I think that there's a good mix of cars down-under.

I hear what you're saying but what do you want to hear? That the Volkswagen Beetle has changed rear window size over the years and there were different engines available too? It was a Beetle from production start in Germany till the end of production in Brazil. You may find other examples too...

@the austrian , i guess yesterday Horror abuse a little with adulterated beer juggle

For be back in the subject many MOG from UK where exported, when you see the price in EU and in UK nothing to compare it's why i go to pick mine in Manchester (also lot of less choice)
