Hi JP That is indeed great news, you must be highly relieved. We were away on holiday when you first posted, so missed the car being shipped back, etc. Now I'm just delighted for you and it seems that in the words of the Bard: 'All's Well That Ends Well'. When do you get the car back and will you be able to use it over the Festive Season? :santa2: Wishing you both a very Happy Christmas :xmascheers: Best wishes B & M

Hi JP! That's fantastic news and a superb Christmas present for you! Glad to hear that the factory has got to the bottom of the problem. I always thought that they would solve the problem but I suppose there is always that nagging doubt until that's achieved. We have just taken delivery of a supersports junior pedal car which will be a Christmas present for my young daughters which will cause great excitement on Christmas day. :santa2: The reason for mentioning this is that it has a battery which powers the headlights and I have just ordered a Banner trickle charger from Mark Baldwin for it. It also happens to be the trickle charger that Morgan recommend for the Aero 8. If you don't have one it might be worthwhile speaking to Mark about that - cost very reasonable at roughly £45. Hope that the Aero is soon back in your garage! Best wishes for a spledid Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010. :xmastree: Robert

JP,
Probably the best Christmas present you could have asked for. By any chance was the problem identified by a fat man dressed in red :santa2:
Do you know if the fault was a result of a faulty part, or had it been damaged at some time?

Hi B & M,
Relieved is the right term !
They still have a few little points to fix and the car will be shipped back but that will take place, I guess, in January.
The salty roads are presently not really inviting an Aero on Swiss roads....
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to both of you. :snowlaugh:

Hello John, The "fat" men dressed in red were probably Simon and Andy (:-). No clue if it was a faulty part or damaged but I would imagine damaged being the reason. I will ask them that's a good question. JP,

Hello Robert, I can easily imagine the eyes of your daughter when unpacking her Christmas present. A fantastic gift and collector item by all means. A great idea ! As you probably know my battery refused any services after one month of inactivity in the garage. I hope the factory will find the source of the problem before sending it back. In any case I will have to purchase the Banner trickle charger for a greater peace of mind. Merry Xmas and New Year 2010 ! Hi JP! That's fantastic news and a superb Christmas present for you! LATEST NEWSJust to bring you up to date on the position of my car, the factory have found the fault which caused the fuse to blow. A great news overall Given that from time to time I've been known to adopt a slightly less than enthusiastic view of the Factory, it's only fair that when they do 'do the business' as has obviously been the case here, I should congratulate them. So, nice one MMC! Regards, G
