Hit in the face by a tit is no fun. On second thoughts!

Like pretty well everyone here my wife likes them on.
But I really like driving with the side screens off, and my flying jacket helmet, gloves and goggles on - full prewar Biggles mode.

Got myself a stick on Walrus Mo and and a pipe too but am yet to use those, I think a pipe gripped with the teeth out the side of the mouth really adds a certain whatnot. And in practicing with it I believe pointing the mouthpiece at things or tapping it on the table for emphasis seems to add a sense of authority too. Saving those two items for when Tasm3W gets his three wheeler in a couple of weeks and he takes me for a blast.

I do love the look of the car with the roof up as well as screens on though, very 30's B&W movie look.

Cheers John

I had a stunned black bird in my smart roadster once but it hit the bonnet and slid up the windscreen into passenger seat it didn't come from the side.

We were equally as shocked as each other!

Oh it does happen here - just not that often. It was over 30c here yesterday and has been up there maybe 5 days this year. Probably why soft top cars are popular in the UK. The summer temperatures are rather more attractive than round the med.

I guess I am just a lucky chap then as the Memsahib will only go for a drive if the side screens are off!! In fact in 12 months of ownership I can honestly say that I have only used them once and that includes the weekly winter blast to keep things well oiled.
I just don't see the point of a Morgan with the screens on, certainly if it is raining then put the hood up but still no to screens.
Off to see my analyst now !!!!! oldgit

Well not often I'll agree but it's not unknown. 30° here yesterday and forecast again today for S.E. England. I shall shortly be blatting over the South Downs to Goodwood with my Morgan cap for sun protection.
