My wheels are not unpainted, that is the Mercedes Palladium Silver that we chose, the wheels and body match (another small upcharge). My apologize, I can see that now I look at the pic again. Very nice colour choice btw. A very good friend of mine had his Vespa built and painted a Mercedes grey/silver, I'm not sure of exact name for it but here it is. Unfortunately, it got stolen from the courier who was delivering it somewhere between Scotland and down here in Gloucestershire and he never actually saw it in the flesh (only a few taster pics, this being one of them). All sounds a bit fishy to me and it's currently an ongoing insurance claim.

Hi Darren and welcome. You do have the bug or is it disease I am afraid. Mine has the bright pack and it looked great for a while. I bought the old girl seconhand so didnt have the choice. I would stick with standard given the choice. Standard tyres are really ok and as mentioned just get WMS at Slough to change when worn out. Morgan buy the wheels from MWS so to charge those sort of prices is very naughty. Morgan get the Avons dirt cheap by all accounts. And be prepared for some un german like niggles. Cheers Matt

It's a little disingenuous for Morgan's demo to have options like Stage 1 and Blockleys... but anyway... 1. I wouldn't say Stage 1 is needed. Easy to break traction with the standard setup. But probably a nice to have! I'll consider one in a year or two I expect... 2. Heated seats might be nice - seems to be popular with ladies. Nice for Winter... although I find them too hot! 3. If ordering today I'd order the rear mudguard too. Also consider the front screen (or Fairbourne). And the dashboard with glovebox.
Good luck with the fun of the configuration!

Welcome Darren. You're correct in saying that MMC can't sell you a new car but you may be able to buy the demonstrator that you drove, contact Nick Baker. MMC will simply build a new one! As Roger said previously Nippymog's car looks a great buy. Enjoy the adventure!

There's some good advice here but only you can decide what works for you
IMHO nobody can offer any kind of advice until they understand what you want from the car and your personal risk profile.
My car is a year old. I spec'd a lot of cosmetic items but no performance upgrades. I retrofitted a nice factory S&S air filter cover. In the last year I have done 5000 trouble free Km's. Had not a single issue, My 3 tyres are barely worn, my warrantee is intact and I've had all the weekend and midweek adventures I could ever hope for at all the performance level I like. I'm likewise a refugee from Lotus, Ferrari (multiple) and Porsche ownership and feel only smugness today when I see those makes today bumbling along endlessly at 100k
I probably wouldn't know what a good engine sounds like, I've tried to listen for pinking...., nah, way beyond me. I just know when I turn the key,she starts first pop, the exhausts throb, the car shakes, and people turn and look, smile, and give me a thumbs up, or take my picture, or say "love your car", or even "you've made my day" (yes really)
Do you want to go faster, sound better, donut better, than the M3W next door (even if there is one) then go for some upgrades but if you want a race car then there are probably better options because like most things, pushing the envelope is going to cost you and in a M3W more than most. Are you prepared or is your passion to forever tinker?
Where are you going to use it? Do you see yourself driving in harsh conditions? The mudguard/screen might be useful but I check under my boot liner often and despite being caught out in rain from time to time, on well sealed city roads there is very little dirt back there that a quick brush and vacuum won't remove. I like the wind in the face that the standard screens provide. Different scene and I'd be happy to change.
Some suggestions are answers to problems long addressed with the 2014 and subsequent modifications by the factory and to what degree are you prepared to void your warrantee let alone put your life at risk with unauthorised modifications.
Sadly it is the problems that get the most coverage on forums. There are hundreds of M3W's out there providing nothing but joy to their owners that you don't hear about.

Phillip, best advice I have heard! I agree with every word as well. Mine is stock, in modified, Avons wearing perfectly, no need for more power, or spare parts, or removing cats or baffles... just loving it.

Gee, I missed this one.
The only things I went for that were "Musts" were a Moto Lita wheel, the std. one is beyond cheesy to me, I didn't even want to drive it home with it... the heated seats as the wind really can make it chilly when the temp drops. I fancied the hood strap, and the three eared spinners...and the usual kit (goggles, head gear, gloves).
The M3W sounds glorious with the stock exhaust, I'm not a fan of chrome, but the polished roll hoops are available from Uncle Melvyn as an aftermarket accessory.
