A rather strange translation. The actual Ferrari colour would be Rosso Corsa, which would translate as "Race Red". Perhaps the translator felt that the Italian word "Corsa" had more style but translated the "Rosso" to "Red" so as not to confuse people.

I will now remove my pedant's hat and go to bed goodnight

At least I have not been fibbing when I have described the colour to passengers and onlookers as Ferrari Red. That works for me.
Remember that voucher code folks if you are in the market for a kit: 'TryChipexzc1812'.

Ah yes, so long as we return in the same ones!
Do you ever go to any of the MSCC Midland Centre 'noggins' (not my favourite description of the dining/drinking events)?

Morgan life.

I wouldn't be too pessimistic - I got Rosso Corsa red spray paint mixed at Halfords - they didn't have the Morgan related information so I asked for Farrari Rosso Corsa of around the year 2000 (i think in the end it was from the mid to late 90's)

I used it to spray the back of the my Cibie (copy) spots and it looks spot on (no pun intended)

The chap who I bought the morgan from said that Morgan used Ferrari's paint for the Corsa red

don't know whether that's true but it certainly looks the same

Another update on this. Halfords no longer mix paints but my local car accessory shop does. They were a bit perplexed with the paint codes I managed to find on-line, but 'Morgan Corsa Red' came up trumps on their MPEX system (see https://www.mpexdirect.com/). A good match for my 1993 +8 and £17.99 for a spray can. I suspect they would have other standard Morgan colours too.
