Well, that's me a hour older. The Morgan was in the opening credits but I glazed over and lost interest when Quentin came on, I don't think it appeared in this episode.

Enjoyed the programme but missed the start and the morgan.
Didnt we produce some terrible cars in the 1980s.

My first two cars were featured, first was a Princess Vanden Plas 1300 (an Austin 1100 with a few extra CCs and some walnut), it was pretty crap by the time I got it and the block cracked which finished it off. Second was a Hillman Imp, I thought that was truly awful and I got rid of it after two weeks.

My 1969 4/4 needed a total rebuild, by the previous owner, incl. body tub and front wings in 1977. I believe built quality was worse than BL even!

My Uncle had the thankless task of selling BL cars in the 1970's at Hillcrest Motors in Holywell.
Worse job he ever had, spent more time dealing with warranty claims than actually selling cars. Even had to resort to cannibalising new cars to deal with the warranty claims.
The last straw came when he took delivery of a new Marina (much delayed due to a strike) and found that some malcontent at the works had urinated in the boot!
Moved to the local Datsun dealership, no problems - the cars just sold themselves
