The end of the road

Following on from the post about events last month, it is now official, and our Roadster has left the road for good.

It has been a tough month waiting for the verdict, but the support from our fellow Morgan owners, right from the start, has been simply amazing.

We haven't even begun to think about a replacement car yet - we need to sit back and take stock. BUT... we plan to be around the world of Morgans for the foreseeable future.

I'm very sorry to hear of the demise of you beloved. If the above gets your interest, I may have one to sell.
Bob hope your not another one deserting the golden ranks.

Rob - I missed your post time first time around as I had been in hospital for a few weeks.... I've now checked back and seen the original thread.

How awful for you - but you're intact and that's more important. But it's so dreadful to see a loved car, particularly a Morgan, so damaged. Gutted for you - we'd all feel exactly the same.

What actually happened in the accident?

Neil,

Thank you for your kind post.

Sorry to hear you were in hospital: fingers crossed that you're on the road to recovery.

I hope you understand that I don't really want to go into too much detail about the incident, but "human error" played a large part in it.

The MOST important thing is (as you say) that both of us walked away - one of us even managed to open the car door without any problem!

Good to see that you are back posting, Neilda. You are right - life is too short - I had agonised about the Suplex suspension before my heart attack - now - I'm getting it fitted as I realise that life might be shorter than I had thought!!!!!!

Cheers!

What a great photo. And a lovely blue. What a shame that the car came to sucha sad end. To be honest the damage didn't look so bad but I suppose there must have been chassis damage.

Rob, most important you are okay! I think the vivid blue Roadster will areppear recreated at one time, but now you have the opportunity to turn the bad into the good, and buy yourself another maybe even more stunning Morgan. Indeed, life is too short....!
