I used Hagerty (a UK Company) for My trip to LeMans 50th. They were great, took care of the details. No hassle.
Use a "Freight Forwarder" for a quote. I shipped into and out of Southampton on a Roll On - Roll Off. They did a good job. Call MMC and find out who handles their freight to the U.S. Be prepared with dates, Length, width, height, & weight of vehicle. Freight Forwarders are no nonsense. They will quote a price, not give an estimate (or at least that is My experience).

Anyone know if it's possible to rent a M3W in New York? You can always contact Manhattan Motor Sports as they are the dealership in NY.

I didn't have any luck with Hagerty. Their rules were overly problematic for me. I went with JC Taylor for my Morgans. (They are a department of Zurich.)

State Farm has done well by me. I had an off road incident with the M3W last year and State Farm took care of it with no quibbling or complaints.

After finally securing insurance with Hagerty my USA trip is now underway. Arranging insurance has been by far the most difficult part in preparing for this adventure. It has taken many e-mails to arrange and a lot of explaining but eventually I was granted a "Collector Car Visitor policy”.
I am writing this sitting in the departure lounge of Heathrow airport waiting for my flight to JFK. My car arrived a few days ago and has cleared customs etc and is waiting in the warehouse. I will be glad to see it safe and sound - if I can find it!
I will post a few times on here if I can but anyone interested will be able to see by progress on RH03MOG.com.
