Steve, A former Professor of mine- who went on to advise the World Bank- ( for what that's worth!) once said in a lecture, "Borrow big, very big. Nobody ever makes third world countries bankrupt- they owe too much. If you, on the other hand, stray into minor debt after a lifetime of financial probity, the vultures will sniff you out and 'have your tr*pes'"
I laughed at the time. Now, I'm not too sure!
Regards, G

look at the nearside spotlamp. What's that all about then...... One of the Oddfellows? Or - His PassengerWMBO liked to follow the kirb. Or - He preferred to only take 'left handers'. Any takers for that Luggage case? one more for Ebay, me thinks.

G Given the photo, it may be fair to say that it also broadens the girth.

Some interesting celeb owners then, surprised at Wossey having one, did you ever see him on TG in "star in reasonably priced car" ? He was rubbish. The list still bears out my age thing though, even for those for whom cost is not an issue. Maybe its just the old middle age sports car thing and we just happen to buy Morgans, whereas others buy Porsches or Ferraris. Still a bit embarrassed to admit that I've still not ventured out in my new purchase despite taking delivery of it some six weeks ago, the weather being my primary excuse. Roll on spring eh !

There was a thread when the papers jumped on him for owning such a flash car Jonathan Ross in his Morgan 6 weeks and you haven't driven yours yet?!? Shame on you. You must have had one day without rain?

6 weeks and you haven't driven yours yet?!? Shame on you. You must have had one day without rain? Come on smiffmog your letting the side down. I've managed almost a 1000 miles in the 6 weeks since I collected mine. If you need I'll lend you a scarf and some gloves

I knew I'd get some stick for that. Whilst there have been gaps in the weather, I live 1/2 mile off the nearest road down a farm track which is currently akin to a section of the Welsh Rally and my shiny new motor would look like it had done said rally by the time I reached the road. I'm not a total wimp as I did go out on New Years Eve during the day for an 80 mile ride out on my BMW GSA ( motor bike, think Ewan & Charlie if you not into bikes ). Thank goodness for heated grips though.
