Greetings Richard. I was hoping to see you at the MCCDC noggin. but I tore a hip muscle and can barely get out of bed. But several of our trike diehards will be there. Have a great adventure! Mac

Thanks for that and I’m already booked in for a service with Dennis. I don’t want to think that far ahead yet as that is towards the end of my journey. If everyone I meet continues to be as friendly as the people I have met today then this will be a marvellous trip.

Shame you couldn’t make it tonight Mac it would have been good to meet. Everyone has been so welcoming and I am proud to be the only M3W in Birmingham, England displaying the Washington DC Morgan Car Club badge.

You should hug the coastline roads all the way south to Key West.
It's a safe route and if you breakdown your not in the middle of open country. Besides you'll drive right by me and we can ride together down past Miami to key West!
Cheers and enjoy your trip!!

Hi Richard, Sounds like a great trip. We are located about 80 miles from MorganWest in a little mountain town called Wrightwood. Wrightwood is the northeast terminus for a road call "the Angeles crest highway", arguably the best motorcycle/Morgan road in SoCal. Check it out on your map and let me know if you need a nights lodging at 6,000 feet. Roland in Wrightwood.

Well You are going right thru middle America. But in 3 weeks, what to do? I have done quite a lot of this route. When You get a few hundred miles East of the Grand Canyon You will be driving into the setting sun. This was a "killer" for Me. Dark glasses, visor, what have You. Believe Me it is "brutal"!!! Keep plenty of fuel. I filled at a half tank. Services can be few and far between. As You are taking well travelled roads probably not a problem. I avoid the "Interstate" at all costs.
