I have a mix of sets. My dad''s Britool sockets, halfords, machine mart. I also have some odds and ends built up as needed.
I do like the ratchet spanners from Aldi too. The swivel heads make some jobs much easier.

Years ago I had a Draper socket set stolen. As a replacement, considering I was young and not exactly rolling in cash, a set bought from a stall in the local market had to do.
40 years later the same 12-point AF, Whitworth and Metric set is still serving well with only 2 replacements (one only owing to wear).
A lucky purchase, I think.
