There is a lot of information out there about your Morgan, but I am afraid it is not all collected in one place.
Firstly use Morganatica which is written by several of us on this forum :
https://sites.google.com/site/morganatica/Secondly there is GoMog which was set up in N America some years ago and is perhaps a little light on some of the more recent models (post 2003) BUT there is a lot of useful stuff about the suspension , body , electrics etc.

After that a Haynes manual for a car that uses the 1600 Sigma engine (Fiesta and Focus?) will give you data about the engine , but the gearbox and axle will be different, so its value will be limited.
Other than that just ask around here when you need data and you will be generally deluged with useful information, someone else has probably tackled the job that you thinking about and learned the lessons, and can give tips and short cuts.
