I wanted to renew my subscription of the MOGMAG until I saw the new price: 89 GBP for Europe except UK (UK is 45 GBP).
A year ago I paid € 65 which is approx. 56 GBP.
This increase by 60% has been explained to me to be caused by increased postage. Hard to believe.

Now I am thinking of switching to the digital edition.

What are the experiences of the digital subscribers in particular in relation to handling? What software/devices do you use? Are the digital versions published the same day as the printed ones?

I read the digital edition on an iPad. The technology is good. The digital edition is usually published on the same day as the printed edition (occasionally one day later).

The only drawbacks are:
1) The need to remember to finish reading it - a physical magazine sits there reminding you to read it. The current edition remains not read to the end because I have been distracted with other magazines.
2) As will all digital publications, sharing it requires sharing the device.

The cost saving is substantial - I will continue to subscribe to the digital edition.

I've decided not to renew. Just not enough interesting articles to justify the cost. ooo

I used to have the digital edition (first year of publication) and stopped, for reasons similar to Dave. I also fly a lot so get to read lots of in flight magazines with tenuous articles/adverts anyway.

I get the digital version. Recently renewed for another year. Probably my last year as it is becoming a fairly repetitive content with just a couple of innovations.
No problems with it on the iPad. Convenient to have.
If I was getting the hard copy then I would have stopped a while ago due to cost/value for money. The lower cost of digital has meant I have kept going.
My advice....try the digital as a money saver.

I also renewed with a digital subscription because it was cheaper. This is the only digital magazine I take because generally I prefer a hard copy, but it seemed logical for MogMag because the printed version is small anyway!

I read it on the Pocketmags website on my laptop and on the app on my Android tablet, and both work well.

Digital is for me although mine arrives later than the hard copy also easy to flip back to previous editions on my I pad. Prefer this to miscellany.

Drifting the thread little here, but I find I don't browse any motoring mags in the same way as I did years ago. Once upon a time, I used to search newsagents regularly for the obscure or the specialist motoring magazines, but these days I search on line for either photo's, articles or inspiration.

Spare time whilst travelling is the only time I'd pick up a magazine, and even then baulk at the cover price..!

SBM...I do similar to you. I thumb through mags and if there are enough interesting articles I may buy it. The internet is a great source of info and entertainment. There are websites that specialise in motorsport, heritage and others and worth occasional viewing.
I wonder......could we set up a thread/forum to list them? A bit like the Events/Meets one?
There is already a video section.

Went electronic as I can flip over back copies easier, and I don't get mags piling up in the garage,
