I am new to the World of Morgans. I have a M3W on order and just finished reading Peter Dron's book. The little bit of information I know suggests that they were very popular starting with their production in 1910. With their production continuing until 1953 I am curious to know more about the 2 and 3 speeder sports cars. How many exist and are still being driven? Has any come up for Auction recently?
Let me know if this thread is out of place. I did not see a Forum for Members with earlier production 3 Wheelers. Also anyone out there with pictures to share?
I know of three F type three wheelers within 70 miles from me. And ther is a Gent some 140 miles north of me that has three all definit years. Mostly not driven I suspect only looked at in the garages and at shows.
I have seven old Moto Guzzi singles 1937 and up that I treat the same way. Just to hard to find spares. So I ride them very sparingly.
A number of early M3Ws are still used in vintage racing here in UK. These two with V twin engines are from 1929/30, but later models with Ford sidevalve engines are also used. The 3 wheeler club could probably tell you about surviving numbers. http://www.mtwc.co.uk/
I have relatively recently joined the Morgan Three Wheeler Club. http://www.mtwc.co.uk Very active group and some super characters! Excellent magazine & website. This forum does seem to mainly discuss the five speeders, however.

Sue's car looks awesome. Those front tires are all business. I wonder if those would fit on a 5 speeder? Thanks for the info and the pics!

I am glad to hear so many made it to the USA and your area. Are you in the vicinity of Washington State?

Around 100 went to Australia - including a batch in 1946. Quite a lot are still active and there are always a few at historic race meetings and rallies.

Have a browse here Ken. If a typical M3W club pub meet is anything to go by, they are all being rebuilt but will be on the road next year

Here is mine a 1934 Sports alongside my 2013 5 Speeder. The 1934 sports is currently stripped for rebuild. I have done the engine and am currently working on the chassis and running gear.
There is a Yahoo group which caters for earlier 3 wheelers
