So it looks like keeping an eye on Bmw's bigger engines to see whats next in a Mog , they do have some nice engines thank goodness !

I think this is the easy way Peter, particularly if you want add ons like ABS. And I guess that is soon to be compulsory. That said I am sure there are electronics guys out there who could supply an ECU and certainly there are lots who can adjust one on a rolling road.

The MMC approach with the roadster where they even use Ford instruments definitely smacks a bit of "lets take the easy way".

That looks and sounds awesome Simon - had a RAM Cobra in the past, but with a Ford small-block as we had a Ford Dealership at the time. That Adrian Reynard designed chassis is a proper job!

Would still like a C-Type Replica, but from Suffolk Sportscars. Just have to think how to get it past the finance committee... swmbo and find somewhere to park it!

Had 6 ram's over the years as well as 7 GT40 replicas ( yes I know I need help). Ram was always streets ahead. Damn nearly bought the whole project from adrian cocking a few years ago until the price quadrupled overnight.....ah well.

Aeroman & Neilda,

I have had a Suffolk SS100, works built and a brilliant car. Sold it to buy a 1964 4.2 E Type S1 o.t.s. and have now sold that and am having a full aluminium works built C Type due for delivery next year. Can't wait as they are such fun.

Ali c type is on my want list.

I've spoken to Suffolk a few times at shows but they never seem to return calls so I gave up trying.

Maybe I'm not target demographic. frown

Simon

Love to hear more about each of the cars, I've had the same car obsession (non-treatable doh ), but for Morgan's - on my sixth Aero (a Plus 8!) with 7-Trads in the past and 1-M3W, which I mistakenly let go. doh

Maybe a separate thread Simon with more details of your cars and the near purchase of RAM? Sounds like a great story and that last Cobra with the supercharged Jaguar engine must have been a beast!

We could also get Reg (lowebird) to give more details of his Suffolk, particularly his new C-type due for delivery next year? Both Asbo, Neil and me would love to hear more of the experience. Crunchie and I share an Ultima GTR and also a Westfield FW400 (up for sale) so also have an appetite for kit cars as well as the Mog obsession...
