I think they shorten the later gearsticks Glenn by cutting off the threaded section.

Glenn, do you have any pics of the new gear shifters you are considering? I am also thinking about replacing mine....my car will hopefully be going into production soon. Build week was scheduled for Week 39...this week.

Hi Tom. As you can see from my initial build pics, the threaded part of the gear lever has been cut off. To avoid any delays I'm therefore planning to use a Momo Competition slip-on gearknob.
