Hi Peter I have read with interest your experience with the plus4 SS. I purchased one and got it shipped over to New Zealand, it had to have a different ecu fitted by Noble Sport. I still had problems with the emission at are point of registration although once registered here there is no further checks on emissions. Have had a standard plus4 before, sold it for a Porsche but missed the Morgan so got the SS and love it. The standard roof does not bother me and in fact prefer it as more room behind the seats, the roof only goes on occasionally as much drier here. Your car would have so much torque and it looks great enjoy it. Which number have you got? I had Number 18 for a few months before selling it to a friend in South Africa. They're not in the least bit bothered about emissions and faulty ECUs there!

The interior is as close as could be to my ARP4 .Box weave Carpets and Cuba leather ect the same but center G/Box tunnel is bigger so all leather and I wanted door pockets so doors leather too. Dash clocks are different in the Roadster so the AR dash was out.I went for the Zabrano veneer to brighten it up. My P4 SS was number 50. It had a new programmable ECU,smaller cc injectors,Bosch Lambda sensor, fuel rail with injectors put back in the head and new spark plugs with the correct gap, for some reason the gaps had been reduced in production causing some of the emission problems. After that it ran superbly.

Hi Peter A wonderful compromise. Enjoy! As one of the few who handed back their keys to the ARP4 and ordered a new Roadster I do not regret my decision in any way. The Roadster has it all and I love it every day. Your car is what Morgan should have put out in the first place and would have been a complete success if they had done so. As it is (and with the greatest of respect to all those ARP4 owners who still have their cars and love them for what they are - more track car than touring IMOHO) I feel that Morgan's reputation is just a little tarnished by it all.
