Yes I have made the journey to a roadster not intensionally as the path has been a little bumpy.
My first Mog was a 2009 Plus 4 a very nice traditional car but it left me wanting something a little different a bit more sporty ! So I opted for a 2011 Plus 4 Supersport.
I loved everything about that car except for the traditional hood, so that was on the upgrade list .
I sorted out the problems with the ecu etc and got it up to full power and clean emissions .It was a keeper and performed fantastically except for that hood .
Then Silverstone and the ARP4 launch It ticked every box for me so l duly ordered one and waited and waited .
The P4SS had gone in PX in October so Mogless until May !,! Empty garage .
The ARP4 eventually arrived and 30 days of total disappointment 14 faults 3 major and not fixable in my opinion an under developed car such a shame .The spec was fantastic with a few minor upgrades on delivery but the drive was just not right my P4SS was a far better car after my tweeks.
I just wanted my P4SS back .
The factory to be honest were very understanding and persuaded me that a Roadster was the way to go although a test drive in a left hand drive car was not totally comfortable .
I still wanted a sporty car with the looks of the car I had bought but without any of the problems ,so we formulated the spec of the AR V6 Roadster.
So I now have an amazing car that is everything I could want ,even if it has happened by accident rather than design.
The refined power and torque of the V6 is quite addictive it does everything the other two did but more so and without any effort or fuss .
I am just so happy with the way things have turned out and having no Morgan for a year has made us realise how important a Morgan has become in our life not only as a car but also as a social and friendship thing .
Thank you Morgan we are looking forward to lots of happy times in the new car .
