Well, looks like we may all be wrong. Car will be delivered to the airport TOMORROW, I will get photos then. Then flown right here to Detroit. My dealer will pick it up and do the Dealer Prep. I don't know how long the dealer prep or customs inspection take, but who knows, I might have a car for the weekend??

That's amazing news! Let's hope there are no issues getting it to Detroit and getting it prepped.
Can't wait to see those pics!

When you sent your balance of payment for your M3W, what currency exchange rate did you get? I just sent my balance of payment last Friday, and I thought I was going to get a nice rate of less than 1.30 USD to 1.0 GBP. The rates are hovering in the 1.285 range, but when my dealer did the wire transfer of my balance of payment, they told me the rate they transferred at was 1.315.
The dealer told me that banks charge a higher rate than what we can find in the market. Today's rate on XE is 1.285.
Did you and others from the US experience this slightly inflated rate? I know it's not a huge difference (about $1,000 USD), and in the grand scheme of things, the car is costing us far less than it did 12-18 months ago, but I'm just curious if paying this higher rate is normal?
Also, I was given an chassis number for my car (SA9M32855GP202112), but I was not given the production build record number yet. Should I be expecting that too?
My dealer told me that production for my car should begin in two weeks....which would put them three weeks behind schedule.
Anyone going to be visiting the factory in the next 3-4 weeks? Would love to see my build in action!
