My 4/4 with 2 litre zetec on twin webers manages 24 mpg on me being well behaved or 12 mpg if I drive spirited.
But I drive a Morgan for fun not for economy.!

Only 4000 miles/6500km, so it must still be quite tight, though I have worked hard to loosen it up. They have been fun miles on mostly empty, winding Alpine roads. I have done very little cruising. I am sure that I could get 45-50mpg out of it if I really wished to do so...

I have a 86 4/4 1905cc with a few tweak's its had twin Weber's DCNF's since the 80s and I get max 31 mpg sometimes less spoke to an elderly chap who does nothing but Weber's he said that's very good . He expected far less. Has them on his TR4A and its way down on the mog.

I get some 35 - 40mpg economy on my 4/4 (2011 registered)
Injection slightly too fat - indicated by the exhaust pipe smut.

I checked the avg mpg from my old 1994 4/4 Zetec. 29.9 mpg, but it had been super chipped.

My 2001 1800 Zetec (unmodified) does around 35mpg.
It will be interesting to see what happens when I tweak things next year (inlet, manifold, exhaust).

I have a plus4 and it does in the region of 38 mpg normally, but a bit less when caution is thrown to the wind!! It's about 3-4 mpg better since Williams remap was done, strangely enough!!!!
