I just want to say thank you to various people. Had the problem of not ticking over when warm on the series 1. Checked out posts and changed the MAF and the car is back to health again. So problem solved now it's back to rebuilding my other series 1.

Yes, the MAF sensor seems to be a magic bullet for engine idle woes, on your other point, don't know why but I suspect your other series 1 might be a flat rad.

Yes 1937 4-4 last time I had it on the road was 1998 so total rebuild. The good bit is there is no MAF.
