65 miles on the clock and I totally remember why I did this in the first place! A few little tiny flaws, the seat heater switches are cross-wired one of the high beams isn't working one of the headlight buckets is misaligned the black header wrap has already mostly turned white, other than that it's just a ball!

Any trick to getting the seat bottom back in, wont go all the way back. Also under the seat is just the vin number? What other number should be there for the registry?

I saw a factory assembly video where the fellow puts the seat bottom in and gives it a couple of good rearward thumps with his fist, upon the front of the seat bottom. Works for me too.
There's been a thread about the seat bottoms, if you get them in it will wear the leather, needs a piece of wood screwing to the bottom of the seat just where it will touch the cross member, it may just lift seat a little depending on the size of the wood. Happy motoring, you deserve it.
Visited my local powder coating shop yesterday and they can offer a Porche metallic silver for my stock black wheels which should match the radiator grill. Definite winter project
